About the Artist

Susan Baldwin is a pastel artist whose journey began in the tristate area of the US, where a childhood fascination with National Geographic images sparked a lifelong passion for art. Influenced by her high school art teacher and the guidance of New York City artist Joe Hing Lowe—whose studio was as much a place for artistic growth as it was for enjoying his mother’s delicious soup—Susan developed a deep appreciation for the visual arts.

After becoming a mother of three and working as a nurse, Susan temporarily set aside art to focus on family and career. Now, with renewed inspiration drawn from life experiences and travel, she has reconnected with her artistic roots and is dedicated to creating evocative pastel paintings. Through this work, Susan seeks to engage viewers of all ages, sharing the emotional depth and beauty captured in each piece.
