This season is ramping up to be a very busy one here in the Hudson Valley of NY.  Online and in person art shows, plein air opportunities and workshops are happening everywhere!  Has the art world just exploded this year, or is it just that I haven't been so aware before?  In trying to keep up with all of these events, I have to remember to take a breath and calm my mind in order to be able to paint.  Once I'm behind the easel all else subsides and I am entirely present, making my marks with more intention than I have before.  Cheers to a great art season!  I hope to see you out there, either in plein air or a festival, online or in a gallery showing off your beautiful works, or in a workshop.  On your Mark!  GO!
